Incorporated in early 2007, the AWI Quality Certification Corporation (QCC) is an autonomous organization which administers the AWI Quality Certification Program (QCP).
The AWI Quality Certification Program (QCP) is a valuable quality assurance tool that seeks to ensure that interior architectural woodwork meets the project's specifications and industry standards. The General Services Administration (GSA) and the American Subcontractors Association (ASA) endorse the QCP.

To become a QCP participant, woodworking firms earn certification credentials through the process of comprehensive testing, thorough inspection of completed architectural woodwork, and by demonstrating the ability to fabricate, finish and/or install work in accordance with the quality grade criteria set forth in the Standards. ► Do you have to be a member of AWI to be a QCP participant?
No - QCP participation can be obtained with or without AWI membership. Although, AWI members receive a significant discount on the application fee.

$2,400.00 USD - sales over $2,000,001
$1,200.00 USD - sales between $500,001 to $2,000,000
$ 600.00 USD - sales under $500,000*
QCC Fees
Application: $1,650 (AWI Manufacturing Member) $3100 (All Others)
Annual Participation: $1,100 (AWI Manufacturing Member) $2500 (All Others)
Project: 1/2 percent of the total woodwork contract or minimal $500 fee
