  1. We are dealing with a precious resource, and we place value on that resource as an association.
  2. We are committed to the sustainable management of that resource.
  3. We encourage the use of underutilized species as a part of the solution. Fashion and fads often drive the species selection.
  4. We recognize there are a number of programs in operation which serve to verify sustainable forestry and wood use practices.
  5. We do not endorse any single program or solution, nor do we make any statements against any.
  6. Our commitment to and the process of being good stewards of our natural resources will never end.
