A method of concealing inner core material with a decorative edge. Two methods are used for order of operation when attaching banding, Pre-band or Post-band. The pre and post are in relation to when the face material is applied.

Post-band will have a seam on the face of the object as the banding is applied after the material face has been laid and cut to size.

Pre-band will show only face material in a front elevation view. It requires the core cut to size, banding applied to all edges, then face material applied.
